Skills development for employment

This project is being implemented from 2017 with funding from UNHCR and refugee and host communities’ contributions. The project aims at training the youths on how to make sanitary detergents called SOLAMU SANITARY DETERGENTS, which included (Liquid soap, bar soap, Hand washes, Jays), and bakery i.e., baking Cakes, Daddies, Baggier, etc. This project has been so beneficial to the refugee and host community youth. Some youth have applied the acquired knowledge and skills. They (Youth) have initiated their own income generating activities like making liquid soap, hand washes while others are engaging in baking of cakes, daddies, baggier etc. and all these have market in the Refugee and host communities and other places. This has made them to become self-reliant.
